Part Time - Administrative Assistant:

The Administrative Assistant will perform administrative and office duties for the Lead Pastor and other pastor staff while managing the entire office and its day to day operations. This person must be a self-starter who can plan, organize, administrate and complete work with limited oversight. The traits of Christ-centered, servant-leadership, integrity, decision-making, timeliness, problem-solving, creativity, friendliness, confidentiality, flexibility, professionalism, hospitality, helpfulness, and the ability to meet deadlines and set priorities are necessary for this position.
Responsibilities:
Daily Responsibilities
- Provide Lead Pastor report on tasks for the day
- Organize and manage the Lead Pastor’s schedule for appointments, meetings, speaking engagements and connection points
- Respond to and send phone messages and emails on Lead Pastor’s behalf
Office Administration
- Organize and manage the Lead Pastor’s teaching and preaching material
- Organize specific details as they relate to Sunday messages
- Manage and respond to incoming e‐mails on behalf of the Lead Pastor
- Proficient in the knowledge and use of PowerPoint, Pro‐Presenter and Keynote software to make presentations for Lead Pastor as required
- Record and transmit staff meeting minutes each Tuesday and ensure follow through for assigned tasks
- Research, edit and circulate info as required and provide administrative support
- Input Accounts payable and submit payroll
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Meeting Support
- Establish agendas and necessary documents for meetings
- Assist with the timely distribution of material to the Board and Lead Team
Manage/ Oversight
- Church’s social networking
- Inputting Attendance & Reporting information to the Dashboard
- Office supplies and material
- Office Communication and Rolling Hills "brand" integrity
- Prayer Team Communication
- Oversee and organize Church Calendar
Writing/ Communication
- Assist Lead Pastor in ghost writing with articles, letters, sermon research and anything else the Lead Pastor directs assistance for communication
- Church / Lead Pastor Communication
- Calling church members / Bank / Ordering Supplies / Making Reservations
- Emails (whether to entire church or on behalf of the lead pastor)
- Manage mass text messages
- Mailing items as needed.
- Communicate with leaders and staff on behalf of the Lead Pastor
Leadership Support
- Guard Lead Pastors time for prayer and study and sermon preparation
- Support Lead Pastor on projects, ministry needs and other needs that arise.
- Seek and document staff needs to communicate to Lead Pastor
- Seek and document input of potential leaders or people Lead Pastor needs to meet with.
- Arrange details for events and outreaches (Project Oversight)
- On Sundays, ensure details such as props, teaching slides, Sunday morning events are in place for Sunday for the Lead Pastor
- Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of the Lead Pastor to meet his expectations

- Tithe to the vision of Rolling Hills Christian Church.

Qualifications:
Specific Skills/ Experience Required:
- Administrative or assistant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft 360 (Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Elvanto Church Database Management (or willingness to embrace and learn)
- Evernote ( or willingness to embrace and learn)
- QuickBooks (or willingness to embrace and learn)
- Advanced written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiar with Apple Technology (or willingness to embrace and learn)
- Project Management Experience
- Familiar with Social Media platforms
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
