SUMMER 2022
High School Summer Camp
Located on college campuses across the nation, MOVE provides a program for 30,000 high school students every summer. Students are challenged through intense, interactive worship, dynamic preaching, small group study and community building.
Students at MOVE not only learn and worship together – they spend quality time with their church youth groups, discovering ways that God will use them to impact the world. MOVE is more than just another conference or camp – it’s an experience! It’s an all-inclusive event providing food, lodging, recreational activities and an amazing program. Adult leaders are provided small group materials prior to the event, and then meet with CIY staff each morning to go over each day’s lesson. And MOVE curriculum is made available to all groups after the event. This includes curriculum that will take your students deeper into MOVE’s theme for four more weeks. MOVE is committed to helping students take their mountaintop experiences beyond the event by challenging them to become Kingdom Workers. To encourage that commitment, each student has the opportunity to open a Kingdom Worker Card on the last day of MOVE. On that card is a challenge to complete something over the next year, no matter how difficult the task. MOVE Registration Cost to Families = $319 + $51 travel cost = $370 |
Middle School Summer Camp
MIX is a four-day summer event specifically designed for students in sixth, seventh and eighth grades. It is intentionally crafted in ways that will engage middle school students through tactile, interactive and fun activities coupled with Bible-based teaching and small group interaction.
MIX is an event that understands middle school students need their own experience. This age group is at a unique time in their lives – they’re growing and learning different than any other age group. They’re still young enough to need to play, but old enough to start understanding some core ideals that will stay with them the rest of their lives. For this reason, MIX isn’t designed for high school students, or for preteens. It’s specifically designed for sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade students – it’s their chance to be exactly who they are: to play, listen and learn as themselves. It’s also created for adult leaders to build relationships with students that will last long after the MIX experience. At MIX, your students will come to understand their identity in God’s Kingdom, and be challenged to embrace the Kingdom work He has prepared for them. MIX Registration Cost to Families = $294 + $26 travel cost = $320 |
What is Refuge Student Ministry? |
Refuge Wednesday Night |
Students hold a special place here at Rolling Hills. Our student ministry, Refuge, is a group of students, 6th through 12th grade, that meet regularly to get to know other Christians their age and connect with Christian mentors to help them grow. We partner with Countryside Christian Church to provide students with resources across all of North Topeka. We believe that students have the capability and the passion to be the next generation of great Christian leaders. Refuge Student Ministry works to empower young Christian leaders and inspire students to seek life in Jesus.
|
One way that we engage and inspire students is through our Wednesday night get together. We meet every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00, at Countryside Christian Church, 3635 NE Highway K4. This is a time for students to meet with one another and get to know each other through games, talking about the Bible, and discussion groups. This is a fun event for all students and is great for anyone that just has some questions about this whole Christian thing.

Small Groups
|
Get Connected |
Our High School small groups meet once a week to take time to unwind, and to ask some deeper questions about the Bible. These provide a great opportunity to go a little deeper than Wednesday Nights, talking about how to practically live the Christian life. Each group is led by a skilled leader that genuinely cares about students and is there to support and encourage them in their daily life.
