Ask This:

While often it feels like getting an answer other then, “Church was good” out of our littles is impossible, our hope is to help bridge that gap with specific and open ended questions to help you bridge the gap between what your child is learning at church and your conversations at home. These questions are based directly on what they talked about in small group and how the lesson relates to their formation each week.

Week 1 - 08/26

Ask This:

  1. Say all the kind words you can think of.
  2. How was Joseph a good example to his brothers?
  3. What makes Jesus a good example?
  4. What things can you do to copy Jesus?
Week 2 - 08/30

Ask This:

  1. Joseph was in charge of all the food. What kind of food do you like to eat?
  2. How can you live like Jesus?
  3. How can you be a good example in what you say?
  4. When you feel like using mean words, who can help you say kind words?



Week 3 - 09/06

Ask This:

  1. What can you do to shine bright for Jesus?
  2. Jesus forgave his brothers and shared with them. Who do you share with?
  3. Whose footsteps should you follow?
  4. What things can you do to follow Jesus’ footsteps?
Week 4 - 09/20

Ask This:

  1. Who do you want to be a good example for?
  2. God helped Joseph know what dreams meant. What do you dream about?
  3. Who always wants to be our best friend and leader?
  4. What things can you do to show Jesus is your best friend and leader?
